You may have heard on the news recently about a rise in reported cases of Measles on Merseyside in Greater Manchester. The measles outbreak on Merseyside is now the largest in the North West since MMR vaccine was introduced in 1988.
As a response to this and in line with NHS guidance the New Islington Practice is offering all its patients aged 16 and over to book an appointment at the Practice to have the Measles vaccination if you have not previously received it and are at risk of catching measles.
